Isla Mujeres Photo SafariIts so fascinating to walk around another country
and see how different it is from ours. Although I haven't traveled outside the
US extensively (yet), whenever I do I notice how colorful and bright everything
is. I guess that's one upside to not having neighborhood associations! It
seems like people here in Mexico as well as in Jamaica have a good time painting
their houses. They certainly don't feel obligated to make them monochomatic,
the more contrast, the better! Here are some shots from cruising around this
rustic, charming island today (and I mean rustic and charming in the complete
BEST sense of the word--it is awesome
here!):
