Parents Visit!


Even though I have now been living in California for a year, I've been back home really often for weddings so there really hasn't been much of an opportunity for my parents to come out and visit me until now. As a meeting coordinator for Duke my mom gets to travel a lot and since she had a meeting in San Diego, they decided to make a trip of it to see me and some relatives in LA too!

We hung out here in Orange County for awhile, but all the stuff they really wanted to see was in LA. We went to the Chinese Theater:







And they have these weird people walking around outside of it:



We also went to Martin Katz's store. For those of you who don't know, Martin is a very famous Jeweler to the stars. Usually when I flip through People magazine, his name comes up a few times. We checked out his stuff and even got to hold a $4,000,000 (yes, that is the correct number of zeroes) diamond (it was pink, not that big but very rare). That was cool.
