Last day home :(

Yesterday was my last day in Cary. This morning I flew to Chicago to start my stay with my good friend Rosalind and it has been a complete blast so far! I can't wait to blog what we did tonight, but for now, a little bit of catch up.

In Philadelphia, I got to see my friend Jamie who drove down from NJ. I shot Jamie's wedding this summer on my birthday weekend (7.22--mark it down!), and I haven't gotten to see her since. I was so excited to spend the day shopping with Jamie and Laura:

That evening I flew back to Cary and got to see another old friend, Nick. Nick is awesome! We actually went to our senior prom together and have managed to stay friends for the past (not going to tell you how many) years. It was so much fun to catch up and reminisce with him, and hear about all the new things going on in his life:

I did a little shopping in Cameron Village while I was home, and found some cool patterns while I was at it. The photo on the right is the door knob of one of my favorite shops--I've always thought it was a little strange!

Last but certainly not least, I spent last night with a group of my favorite people from college. Here's all of us:

Me, Amy & Jimmy--I shot their wedding Oct. 22, and I just love these guys. I always miss them :)

Doug & Lynette--I shot their wedding last October, and they are doing wonderfully! You can see their sneak peek here

And, of course, MIke, my favorite person:
