Maui with Stephanie!


I just got back from my trip to Maui for Beng & Dave's wedding and man, did we have a great time! I will save the photos from the wedding for a seperate entry (coming soon, promise), but this one is to commemorate the lovely time Stephanie and I had this past week.

Stephanie is not only a talented photographer , but an absolutely amazing wedding dress designer as well. Her designs are so original, vintage, whimsical, and fabulous that I hope every bride I shoot next year is wearing one! You saw it here first girls, Stephanie is going to be HUGE.

Anyway, besides shooting the wedding, we spent our time getting massages at the unbelievable Grand Wailea Spa, one of the top spas in the world, eating at fantastic restaurants, and even doing a little personal shooting of the beautiful scenery. We even ran into Sonny Miller, the world famous surfing cinematographer (if you've seen amazing surfing footage in a magazine or movie, chances are Sonny shot it), and had dinner with him, Dan & Keith two fab surfers, and some other dude who calls himself the King of Kihei. A good time was had by all, unfortunately there were no cameras present :(. I am so lucky to have had Stephanie along with me (and I think that Beng and Dave will agree when they see the photos :) ).
