I got to take a trip to Washington DC last week with one of my closest friends, Beth Auciello! I haven't really gotten to spend much time with Beth in the past couple of years because she's been in Chile immersing herself in the culture there. She's finally back and getting ready to start her Masters program at American University (she got a full scholarship)!

We went up for a couple of days and stayed with another very close friend, Mike. He's there for the summer pretending to work at his internship. Mostly, he just collates papers and takes long lunches. He also attends various baseball games, concerts, and dinners with several of his eight bosses.

Laura Novak (www.novakphotography.com) even came down for a day of shopping in Georgetown! A good time was had by all.
