nicole & jacob's engagementWhen I was in college getting my degree in
English and doing photography on the side, I was sure that my degree would never
actually do me any good and that it was a complete waste of time. I didn't want
to finish school but I figured that if I was going to, I would at least get a
degree in something I enjoyed, however useless.
For the very first time, my degree has actually booked me a job! Nicole, an English major herself, told me that she loved my work, but it was really my degree in English that cemented her decision to go with me. I can't believe that my parents were actually right about my degree coming in handy! I have really been looking forward to Nicole and Jacob's engagement shoot ever since Nicole emailed me and asked me to not make her and Jacob frolic on the beach! I knew then that we would be doing something a little bit out of the ordinary, and I was right. We shot out at Castle Park in Riverside, and arcade/carnival/mini-golf course today, and it is awesome! The best part was that the rides were completely closed off, so we snuck in and had the place to ourselves. Here are a few of the shots from today: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This place was just so odd--they had random tropical birds wandering literally on the golf course: ![]() www.jcsphoto.com
