karen & joe's "will you"


Its engagement shoot season again! I like this time of year because I get to start working on engagement sessions for all of my couples who are getting married this year--its fun to get to know them and learn about their weddings and things they like to do together, as well as flex my creative muscles before wedding season really gets underway (which for me is this month with 4 weddings!).

Karen and Joe have the spot as my first engagement session in 2006 and what a way to kick off the year! This session was so much fun to photograph. Karen and Joe actually met in a yoga class and have remained avid yoga-ers (yes, I made that up), which really shows in their flexibility. Karen and Joe also wanted to incorporate riding bikes into their shoot as Joe does Ironman Triathlons (he just finished up one in Hawaii) and is obviously highly skilled on his bike. After this shoot, I am so looking forward to their wedding at the Montage in April.
