terry & calvin


What a beautiful evening and a gorgeous couple! I was really looking forward to this shoot for awhile, ever since Terry told me that she wanted to wear a formal outfit in addition to a casual one. I told her it was okay to do that, but that she had to be willing to wear the casual outfit on dry land and the formal one on the beach and in the water. She and Calvin were such good sports! We went to Laguna Beach and shot all around town, then headed down to the beach to shoot some portraits in that gorgeous golden late afternoon light. I don't think Terry and Calvin 100% believed me before the shoot that they would be going all the way in the water, but we all had a blast with it! I had the added benefit of the fantastic Jay Reilly shooting with me today--I owe him one :). I can't wait for their wedding in LA in October--I am sure that it will be every bit as classy and beautiful as Terry and Calvin!
