Angelica & Shawn-May 26, 2006


Whew, just off another weekend in a row of back to back weddings, and i finally have a minute to blog and reflect over the past couple of days. Angelica and Shawn's wedding on Friday night in Laguna Beach was one of my favorites. It is really hard to have a small wedding because I'm sure that when you think of all the people who have played a part in the lives of a couple it adds up to a whole lot. Angelica and Shawn decided to keep things very small and intimate. They only had about 40 of their absolute closest friends and family and they spent a lot of time with each person.

These guys really had it together! Angelica did a lot of the initial legwork with the planning, but she made a genius move hiring Jeannie Savage from Details Details to really pull everything together. I am a sucker for a beautiful detail and this wedding had tons of them, so be prepared for quite a few coming up. Another thing that really stood out was the menu. Shawn and Angelica are very into food and wine, and the beautifully done multi-course meal reflected that interest.

One cool thing about this wedding is that the reception was at a private home in Laguna Beach where I have spent quite a bit of time! It's The Mansion from the Mike Colon seminar a few months back --ah, the fond memories!
