Weddings with Laura & Rosalind

I'm sure all you faithful readers are getting a bit tired of all my exploits and would like to see some wedding images for once! This past week I was lucky enough to get to shoot with both Laura Novak and Rosalind , who both had amazing weddings that I am so glad I was able to be a part of.

The first one was the day after Christmas with Laura. Laura's clients were an Orthodox Jewish couple who got married at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. As they were both art majors in college, the museum was particularly significant to them and they wanted to incorporate the art into their photos. Here are a couple of my shots, used here with permission from Laura:

The bride had wonderful expressions during the ceremony:

Orthodox weddings are notorious for the wild dancing!

The second wedding I shot was just last night on New Years' Eve with Rosalind. This wedding was the picture of Chicago formal life and was extremely elegant. I had so much fun shooting with Rosalind and also really loved meeting Carmen who came to help us out as well! A few of my shots from this one:

The ring was gorgeous:

The couple brought in really cool dramatic lighting:

Even though it was freezing to my California senses, the couple was game for some outside shots:

One of the most gorgeous locations I've ever seen, the Chicago Cultural Center:

Great windows (and some NYE fireworks!):

Thanks so much to Laura & Rosalind for having me along to visit and shoot, can't wait till Vegas! :)
