Laura & Tim-October 1, 2005

You know how sometimes you plan for something for a really long time and then it finally happens and its a little disappointing? Well that was the exact polar opposite of Laura & Tim's wedding yesterday at the Huntington Beach Hyatt. I knew when I met Laura that she was going to have a gorgeous, classy wedding, and I was so on the mark with that! Not only were Laura and all her bridesmaids awesome, but Tim's guys were also so hilarious. They had even taken bets about which part of his face Tim would get a zit on the morning of the wedding (I didn't see any zit, but rumor has it, the guy who picked the forehead won $60).

It was a pleasure to work with Laura and Tim every step of the way on this wedding. Not a single detail wasn't accounted for, and everyone had an absolute blast. I can't wait to get started on their album, but I'll have to because they are off to Europe for three weeks! I know that they really wanted a sneakpeek, but because I have another wedding today I can't do that. t I'll share an extra couple of their photos instead for now:

This is Heather doing Tim's hair. Heather actually does my hair too and she is fabulous! If you want her number, I'll give it to you, but you won't be able to get an appointment until 2007. It's worth it though, because Heather is a hair genius! She will like this photo because you can't even tell she is over 8 months pregnant:

Aren't these shoes cute? Laura actually just started her own shoe design company Al Amirah, which means "Fit for a Princess" in Arabic. Hopefully all of my brides for next year will be wearing Laura's designs--when she gets back from honeymoon we go to work on the shoe catalog!

Heather, who is married to one of Tim's brothers, is also a very talented makeup artist:

Laura looks stunning here:

These are Laura's two sisters, Gina & Janan, both of whom are still unmarried, so hopefully I will be shooting their weddings someday soon!

I love this shot of Laura stepping out of the limo in her Al Amirah shoes:

Tim with his brother Chris on their way to wait for Laura at the altar:

Laura's dad was so cute and happy to be walking his first daughter to get married down the aisle:

I think Laura also looks fantastic here:

Laura and Tim are into cool architecture and they asked me to incorporate this into some of their photos:
