Lauren & Josh-June 18, 2005


You might notice that this wedding is not as recent as the others--Josh mentioned to me that he and Lauren missed the launch of my new blog by just 10 days, and I agree, that's just not fair!

Josh and Lauren are about the sweetest couple you could find anywhere. When I was shooting Lauren's bridal photos at UNC Chapel Hill, she told me that when Josh proposed to her on the steps, her mother and sister were actually waiting in the bushes to hear her say yes. I give huge props to Josh on this, because it showed that a) he knew to ask the parents for permission and b) he didn't mind that he and Lauren were not exactly going to have a very private moment there! On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure that Josh knew they would be there, but either way, its a cute story.

Josh and Lauren's wedding on the UNC campus was simple and beautiful, very relaxed. I am so happy for these guys and had a wonderful time shooting their wedding!
