Tip #1-Timbuk2 Laptop Bags & Envelopes


I have decided to add a section to my blog called Tips n' Tricks to share with the world little things that make my life better in some way! Today I will be featuring awesome laptop bags and accessories from Timbuk2 , who really make bags for messenger boys that double as rad carryalls for people like me.

Now, some people have told me that my laptop bag setup is totally obnoxious and way too bright. This might be true, however, I like to think of it as theft-proof because it is so bright, big, and easy to spot that only a moron would try to sneak off with it.

The coolest thing about the Timbuk2 website is that you can build your own bag with whatever colors and accessories you want! It rocks!

I have a custom messenger carryall bag that looks like this:



you can't see it in this picture, but I also have the case that attaches to the strap that perfectly fits my Treo phone (which may be getting replaced soon, but that's another entry).

I also have the laptop envelope which looks like this, but in a darker red color:



The bag is big enough to fit the 17" Apple laptop, two 11X14 LC 3500 albums, an 8X10 LC album, and a couple of other little things. I could probably get another album in there too. I also use it when I travel, as it fits perfectly under the seat in front of me on the plane.
