Vegas Recap-Part 2
Sat. March 31, 2007   photographers

Many of you know Dane Sanders who runs Simple Photo TV. Well, Dane has a new game in town, the Simple Photo Booth! I was somehow able to convince Dane to let me borrow the booth to keep at my shootsac booth, and then he brought it over to the L suite at hip hotelTHEhotel for some good times at the 7th Annual [ b ] party. The coolest thing is that you're going to be allowed to buy an actual franchise of the booth if you want! You can offer it to clients, keep it at your house, whatever you want. Shoot Dane an email to dane@simplephotobooth.com for all the info.

We all had so much fun with this booth--I totallly want one at my house! My shootsac got a lot of action! Mike Colon & Shootsac getting friendly

Nathan & Amber Holritz take Shootsac in for some Holritz lovin'

The Shootsac Flamingo also got some action!

And last but certainly not least, the Shootsac Team, Keats, me, and Marisa! Keats and Marisa rocked the booth in Vegas, and also a huge thanks to Tony Spencer who failed to get into the photo booth even once:

Check out this rad slideshow of a ton of images from the booth that Becker made!

Vegas Recap-Part 1
Fri. March 30, 2007   my life

**NOTE** I have had a lot of emails asking if people who couldn't make it to Vegas or find the Shootsac booth would be able to get the show special discount. Unfortunately, the show price was only for the show, but as soon as the website launches (in the next two weeks!!), there will be a launch discount! Make sure to get on the list to be notifed when it goes live. get me on the list asap! Every year, going to DWF/WPPI/Las Vegas is such a crazy week! This year was particularly wild because of the big shootsac launch and my involvement with that. Every night, there are parties that go easily until 4am, and since I had to be at the booth every morning by 8 or 8:30 (bless the people who had to be there at 7am!), I was a bit short on sleep and blogging time. After the Sunday kickoff Swanky Sexy Soiree, Monday's party was hosted in the Kingpin Suite at the Palms by web designer group Bludomain. That's the suite with the bowling alley in it, and they decided to have a few of us have a bowl-off at the party! Little known fact about me--I was actually in a bowling league when I was younger. That wasn't enough however, to take over the mad crazy skills of the talented Jen Bebb, one half of one of the American Photo top 10 photographers in the world (the other half is the equally awesome at photography but less skilled on the bowling alley Stephen Bebb). Jen was the big winner, and I was so proud of her! Stay tuned to see when Jen's bowling seminars will be taking place. Here's one of her and Stephen celebrating the big win:

I actually just received word that Jen and Stephen are offering a seminar now! I'm not sure if bowling will be covered, but go check out Bebb Seminars and find out! Here are a few photos of me bowling (I do have fine bowling form). This first one is from Shannon Kaple. Thanks Shannon!:

These two are from Becker's Blog, where you can see a ton more pics. He is so much better about taking personal photos at stuff like this than I am!

One of the things I got to do this week that rocked had nothing to do with photography. One of my best friends, Laura Novak got engaged recently, so a few of us decided to grab a limo and take her dress shopping! Here's Laura showing off her bling:

Let's see a close up of that rock!

Even my SHOOTSAC got some love from Susan Stripling, Amelia Lyon, Jaclyn Kaiser, and Laura:

Ironically there are no wedding dress shops in Vegas with dresses more than $50, so we didn't get to shop, but the limo part was fun!

I'll be posting pics from Becker's party and Dane's photobooth, as well as a shootsac wrapup this week!

The Shootsac Debut
Mon. March 26, 2007   gossip

Well, I must say, the shootsasc launch yesterday was a HUGE hit! It was awesome that so many people I know stopped by to say hello and check out the bags, and I am so thankful for all the positive feedback! Yesterday for me started at about 3:30am when Becker and I left the OC to drive out here to Vegas. We made it at around 7am, where we were immediately put to work finishing up the booth which was supposed to open at noon. Well, right around 10:00am, a full two hours before the booth was supposed to start up, people started flooding in and the booth was mobbed from then until it closed at 6:30!! Thanks to Becker for all these fabulous photos! Check out this photo of me and the VERY FIRST EVER person to buy a shootsac, David Baxter!

What does this photo have to do with shootsac?

We gave out 500 of these babies yesterday, and they were the hit of the show! I hope I see a few of them around the tradeshow today, that would be awesome! i'm going to take photos of anyone I see with them today and post them up here.

People came from as far as Australia to check out my bags (fine, maybe that's not the ONLY reason), here's me with Jerry Ghionis and Yervant, two world famous hotshot photographers.

Here I am in our little boutique area where you can try out the bags and different fabrics to see how you like them!

And here is me with the wonderful Becker on our way to Sara France, Anna Costa, andLauren HIllary's Sexy Swanky Soiree last night! More to come later!
