England Day 2: The Royal Wedding (With A Twist!)

Mon. April 25, 2011   |   i do
The Royal Wedding.
If I was a betting girl (and if you could bet on such things), I would wager the crown jewels that the Royal Wedding will be as watched as the Superbowl, or better!  I mean, when  you take a gorgeous couple, a royal court, the funds of an entire country, and the rampant, worldwide, wedding obsession, you've simply got magic!

When I was shooting in England two weeks ago, the second day of the workshop Aspire put on had a bit of an English theme...to say the least!  If I could make another bet after winning a fortune in the first one, I would bet that the actual royal wedding will look NOTHING like this.  But...wouldn't it be FUN?!

I think it'd be safe to say I was head over heels for this shoot:

And Becca & Neil were head over heels for each other!

The ever-talented Rachel did an incredible job with this set, placed under this overhang because of the rainy weather:

It was chock full of royally amazing details!

These pillows from Coco Cuschino were my FAVE!  I may or may not have ended up with the top right-hand one in my suitcase :)

Gin & Tonic?  Why not?!

What royal wedding would be complete without a crown and a Union Jack (and some delightful sweets)?

More Union Jacks--you can never have too many!

Another angle of our lovely wedding:

This blue velvet coat absolutely made Becca's look (and was certainly helpful with the chilly weather):

They're just such a darling couple!  No prince or princess could be cuter:

I mean, come on:

Becca as a royal bride with a vintage 60's flair:

A cute look, and cute bouquet:

Oh, did I forget to mention that we had a vintage mini cooper?

No rolls royce or bently could have looked better here:

I wish I had one of these!  I would just park it in front of my house and be adorable :)

Red glove service:

I just loved these two!

We went for a stroll around the property.  Although we shot in the same spots at the day before, the quintessentially English weather gave it a completely different look:

One of my faves of the day:

This car is just so great!

Becca & Neil--LOVE:

What rainy shoot would be complete without wellies?

And portraits:

You were royally amazing!

And Rachel...too much.  Really.  So so great.
