This summer has absolutely flown by! In a sea of my own wedding planning, I haven't shared as many weddings with you as I normally do, but I have LOTS of great ones to show you!

This summer, I was lucky enough to fly up to Los Gatos for Cheyenne & Daniel's absolutely magnificent event. The entire celebration took place in Cheyenne's parents' back yard, which was just SO beautiful and picturesque. Honestly, there's nothing I love more than a backyard wedding, especially when the yard is as stunning as this one!

Cheyenne and Daniel have a love that is so obvious. Even with 300 guests (or more!), a ton of details to string together, and a very very busy day, they were always smiling and happy to be together and to share their love with everyone. Watching them made me so excited for my own day, which, if I manage to keep cool even a fraction as well as Cheyenne did, I will consider a success :)

People who made this wedding a raging success:

Allison Weddings (coordinator)
Jessica Claire (photographer)
Flower Divas (florist)
David Martin (band)
Classic Party Rentals (rentals)

Moving along, I know what you really want is to see the photos!!

Cheyenne wore these jaw-dropping raspberry colored Manolo Blahniks! I love when a bride chooses something other than white shoes--it adds character!

The light in this bedroom was glowy:

Have you ever seen a more perfect bow?

Cheyenne and her dad seemed to me to have a really special relationship. I loved watching his reaction as he saw her for the first time in her wedding gown:

Daniel, looking dapper in his tux. He was so laid back!

While waiting for a few more of the groomsmen to show up, I capture this shot of Daniel laughing--I think it really shows the relaxed and fun mood of the day:

Have you seen a more stunning bride? Really, she was so happy that EVERY photo of her looks like this:

A beautiful bouquet, designed by the Flower Divas--their work was fantastic!

The girls shoes were so adorable!

Cheyenne and Daniel did a first look, where they say each other before the ceremony. It was so helpful because we were able to shoot all the family photos beforehand so that the friends and family could fully enjoy the cocktail hour.

Look at this tree! The backyard is really a perfect spot for weddings:

This is the area below the house that was used for all the guests to hang out before the ceremony, as well as retreat for cocktail hour. It created the perfect setting for the day:

Cheyenne walking down the aisle was so cute--she only saw Daniel:

I love these next two shots--Cheyenne's dad giving her this one last look...

And how happy he is to welcome Daniel to the family!

The ceremony was HOT but it was really heartfelt and beautiful. The judge had been a friend of the family for many years, and you could really tell how personal the marriage by the ceremony he gave:

Cheyenne and Daniel watching their friend who sang in the wedding:

My favorite shot of the day and maybe my favorite ceremony shot ever:

This shot makes me happy--I don't know why, I just love it:

It must be so nice to FINALLY get to be Mr. & Mrs.!

They certainly seemed very excited about it :)

This series of photos was all done in about 20 minutes right after the ceremony while the guests were moving from the ceremony area into the lounge around the pool:

I love love love this one:

And this one:

The couple met in France, so of course they needed an Eiffel Tower to make a little appearance somewhere:

Again, these flowers were so gorgeous! So was the light...

Making an entrance and the first dance:

They had a GREAT party, thanks to David Martin House Party

And dance they did!

This shot says so much to me. Receptions are busy and there are a LOT of people around. It is my absolute favorite thing when the couple still makes time to take a few moments to enjoy it together. This moment lasted just a few seconds, but I love how they were together throughout the night. Even when they would separately talk to their friends, they would always come together and check in, kiss, and chat for a few minutes. It was such a pleasure to watch them!
