There are just SO many of these networking sites out now. I had quite a few people come up to me in Tampa and introduce me as my Facebook friend so and so. Although I am a member of these sites, I still don't quite get it. When I first joined MySpace, quite a few people from my past did find me and it was cool to reconnect with them. Now though, it just seems to be a game of how many "friends" you can collect. I do however enjoy Facebook because it has all these fun things built in to it, like you can throw a sheep at someone. How random is that?

I've also been introduced to Twitter somewhat recently, you can see the box at the top of this blog. I have no idea why people like this either, because I can't imagine that someone wants to know what I'm doing every second of the day. But it turns out that lots of people use Twitter and love it, so I'm going to give it a shot. If anyone can explain why these things are so popular, please let me know!

So go ahead an add me--I'm going to do a little experiment over the next couple of weeks. Let's see how far someone's reach extends through these engines!

On Twitter, I am: jessicaclaire
I'm assuming that if you use Twitter, you know how to add or "follow" me!
