Okay, here comes part 2 of the New Years' Eve wedding! First of all, I had a lot of questions about the limo shot below. The shot was after dark, available light. I had the driver turn the light on in the limo and roll the window down. Manual exposure at 1600, shot is straight out of camera.

Anyway, here comes the rest of the wedding of the year! The theme was winter wonderland, and I totally did feel like I was in wonderland, with all the blue and sparkly around me. It was a detail lover's dream to shoot, that's for sure! You can see more on Becker's Blog

The reception was tented in the backyard of the bride's parents' house. This wedding gave new meaning to the term "backyard wedding"!

This is what the decor looked like before the powerhouse team of Marley the Party Goddess got their hands on it:

I shot most of the details after dark to really play up the lighting. There's nothing I love more than all white carpeting put down for a reception:

Okay, maybe one thing--tiny chandeliers everywhere!

As you can see, it all tied together quite well:

The dance floor was over the pool, and totally clear. It looked like a skating rink!

What would a winter wonderland wedding be without an ice luge?

The arrangements looked frosty with crystals everywhere:

If only real snow looked like this!

Look at these yummy drinks. It is a shame I could not partake....

...until the end, that is! Hey, don't judge--it was New Years', I worked 12 hours, and I was only second shooting :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Asset157873

The night did not stop there though. What's better than doughnuts and milk at midnight?

Asset157874

Dodger dogs at midnight! The groom is the head chef at Dodger Stadium, and the bride's family is quite well connected :)

It was a wonderful way to kick off the year

Happy New Year everyone!
