Locke’s Buddy
You might think this post is about Locke, who turned seven weeks old yesterday. He's cute, huh?
Wrong. This post is actually about Acey, our beautiful girl, an Old English Sheepdog. Note the tongue hanging in the upper left hand corner of the above photo.
While Locke has stolen our hearts for sure, our Acey puppy still finds ways to make sure we know that she's also our baby! For example, I was photographing Locke sleeping the other day when who did I notice in the background?
We tried him in his bumbo seat for the first time--Acey wanted to try it out too!
She is certainly better at posing for me at this point :)
My mom was here visiting this past week and decided to read Locke a story. Guess who else loves story time?
It was adorable till she decided to eat the book! But still....
We played and looked at a toy for a little while:
(she didn't eat this toy)
We played until we got tired, then Acey came in for a cuddle:
I hope that in a couple of years, Acey and Locke are best friends. They're going to have so much fun chasing each other around!
But I think they like each other already:
Acey thinks Locke is delicious:
I tell her often, "Don't eat the baby!". I never yell at her when she's near him unless she's a little too rambunctious. I think this is the best way to make sure they accept each other. Of course, I don't let her lick his face...much:
Tired out:
And because I can, a couple of adorable photos--Locke and Dad while my mom looks on. This was Locke at five weeks, when his smile started to come out!
And just general adorableness, perfect for a Wednesday!
