Holly & Joe’s Wedding

Holly and Joe live in New York, but with their relaxed style and attitudes, you'd never know it! I knew when I met this couple at their engagement session that their wedding would have a sense of peace and certainly a sense of beauty about it. I knew this because that's how Holly & Joe are: Comfortable with who they are and who they are with one another, and able to focus on what is important to them. Oh, and as much in love with Santa Barbara, the Four Season, and San Ysidro Ranch as I am...bonuses for sure!

Holly has that rare ability to combine a sense of classic with modern style, as evidenced by these Christian Louboutin silver shoes:

And a Monique Lhuillier gown--this dress is just wedding goodness in dress form!

Flowers that were simple and sweet:

Holly was, and I know this is a cliche, just so HAPPY all day! Never once was there a moment of stress, it was just the beautiful day during which she was going to marry Joe:

Holly chose bridesmaids dresses that were all the same gown but could be tied tons of different ways and came in a bunch of beautiful colors:

Her girls looked gorgeous and so put together, yet each had her own flair on the style of the dress. Holly, of course, was a brunette Grace Kelley:

I'll be honest: He's downright smashing in that suit!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, this classic vintage car showed up:

We went off to San Ysidro Ranch for portraits. You can only shoot there if you are getting married there or staying there, which Joe and Holly were, so we took FULL advantage:
